Snaplord's Take:

We had a good week this week, but of course some duds appeared like Kamara and Demercado, please dont get me started on Demercado, glad he was punched by his coach! Dak and Diggs showed up HUGE, and Jake Ferguson is quickly becoming an absolute steal. All in all was a great week of football, and the Jags look like a contender. See you in week 6.

Week 6 QB start em sit em recommendations - Fantasy football quarterback advice

Start QBs - Week 6

Top quarterbacks start recommendations for fantasy football

Sam Darnold (QB – Seahawks)

Yeah, start him. The man’s out here playing like he’s out to prove a point!

  • Just dropped 340 yards and 4 TDs

  • Jags has been a lot better but still allow big plays; they’re about to make Darnold look like an MVP candidate.

  • He’s slinging it to JSN, and I see a shootout brewing between him and Lawerence.

Matthew Stafford (QB – Rams)

I’m starting Stafford this week!  Dude’s been slinging it lately, looks like he found the fountain of youth or at least a solid chiropractor.

  • Ravens’ defense gives up chunk plays, and Stafford loves to test that deep ball.

  • He’s got weapons everywhere — Puka, Adams, Williams — pick your poison.

  • He will look to take out all his frustration of losing to Mac Jones out on the Ravens.

If you need a steady 250 + and a couple of scores, Stafford’s your guy this week. Nothing flashy, just solid QB work.

Baker Mayfield (QB – Buccaneers)

I’m rolling with Baker this week. He’s been quietly one of the most consistent QBs out there — 17+ points every game and playing like he’s trying to win MVP. I’d give it to him right now.

  • Matchup looks good, defense he’s facing gives up chunk plays and soft coverage.

  • He’s making smart throws, not forcing it like old Baker used to.

  • Plus, with Egbuka healthy, that offense actually moves.

Baker is a dog! We have all seen that viral video! Start him.

Bo Nix (QB – Broncos)

Bo is a must-start this week. He’s heating up, just carved up the Eagles and looked calm doing it.

  • Jets’ defense isn’t scaring anybody right now, zero pass rush, soft coverage. Just gave up over 30+ to the Cowboys.

  • He’s starting to look comfortable, making smart reads instead of forcing dumb throws.

  • Plus, Denver’s offense is finally opening up, you can see Payton letting him air it out more.

If you need a QB with upside this week, Nix is a sneaky play. Could easily go 250+ and 2 TDs.

Jared Goff (QB – Lions)

I’m starting Gof this week for sure. He’s been steady all year, you look up every Sunday and he’s got 250 yards and a couple TDs like clockwork.

  • Chiefs’ defense is good, but Goff doesn’t panic; he just keeps firing.

  • Offense is rolling, and that O-line gives him time to make a sandwich before throwing.

  • He’s not flashy, but if you want 18–20 points without the drama, Goff’s your guy.

I think this game will be a shootout …

Sit QBs - Week 6

Kyler Murray (QB – Cardinals)

I’m sitting Kyler this week. He’s banged up, that foot’s clearly bothering him, and when he can’t run, half his game disappears.

  • You can already tell he’s hesitant, no designed runs, no scrambling magic, just checkdowns.

  • Turnovers creeping back in too, and the offense looks out of rhythm.

  • If he’s not using his legs, you’re basically starting a short pocket passer on a bad team.

Let him rest and see if he looks healthy next week. No reason to take a gamble.

Dillon Gabriel (QB – Browns)

The rookie didn’t look half bad in his first start, but I’m benching him this week. Rookie or not, going up against Pittsburgh’s defense on the road is just asking for stress.

  • Steelers bring pressure every other snap — Gabriel’s gonna be running for his life.

  • Cleveland’s probably gonna lean on the run and short stuff to keep him safe, so the ceiling’s basically gone.

  • He looked solid last week, but this isn’t the same matchup — this is “welcome to the NFL” territory.

Give him time, but Week 6 ain’t the week to roll him out there.

Aaron Rodgers (QB – Steelers)

I’m sitting Rodgers. Love the guy, legend for sure, but he’s 41 and looks like he’s running in sand out there.

  • O-line can’t protect him — man’s getting folded like a lawn chair every other drive.

  • He’s playing it super safe too, just dumping it off instead of taking shots.

  • Cle has a tough defense, so it should be a low-scoring game.

You can’t win fantasy games on vibes. Great career, bad fantasy play right now.

Bryce Young (QB – Panthers)

Sit Bryce Young until he starts throwing TD’s. Has potential, but right now, the Panthers offense looks like it’s running in slow motion.

  • He’s checking down every throw

  • Zero big-play upside, and every drive feels like it ends with a 3rd-and-8 screen pass.

  • Until Carolina figures out how to block and stretch the field, he’s just not startable.

Great future maybe, but right now he’s fantasy oatmeal — safe, bland, and not helping you win games.

Start em Sit em Running Backs - Week 6

Week 6 RB start em sit em recommendations - Fantasy football running back advice

Start RBs - Week 6

Top running backs start recommendations for fantasy football

Breece Hall (RB – Jets)

Start Breece. I don’t care who he’s playing!

  • He’s getting the touches, the catches, and the red-zone looks — that’s all you want in a running back.

  • Even if the Jets get behind, he stays involved because he’s their only consistent weapon.

  • Denver’s run defense looks tough on paper, but one crease and he’s gone.

You start your studs. Breece is a walking 20-yard burst waiting to happen.

Rico Dowdle (RB – Panthers)

I’m starting Rico. Dude just ran for 200 yards — that’s not a fluke, and he gets his revenge this week!

  • He’s running like he’s trying to steal someone’s job (and honestly, he might’ve).

  • Even if Hubbard’s back, there’s no way they don’t keep feeding Dowdle after that performance.

  • Cowboys’ run D isn’t what it used to be — he’s got another shot to eat this week.

If you’ve got him on your bench after last week, that’s just fantasy malpractice. Start the man.

Bill Croskey (RB – Commanders)

BILL Croskey. He’s got juice — 150 total yards and 2 touchdowns last week isn’t luck, that’s him making the most of real volume.

  • He’s running angry, breaking tackles like he’s trying to prove a point.

  • Washington finally found a back who hits the hole hard instead of dancing around.

  • Even if they split touches, he’s earned the hot-hand treatment — and the matchup’s solid.

Ride the wave. He’s got that “feed me” energy right now.

TreVeyon Henderson (RB – Patriots)

Yeah, I’m rolling with Henderson this week. He finally has a path to touches, and you can tell the Pats are ready to see what they’ve got, I mean, they better be.

  • Gibson’s out, Stevenson’s been a fumble machine — perfect storm for Henderson to grab more snaps.

  • He’s explosive, one of those “blink and he’s 20 yards downfield” types.

  • Even if it’s a timeshare, he’s got the juice they’ve been missing.

If you’re looking for a flex with upside, this is the week to give him a shot. Could easily house one and make you look smart.

Quinshon Judkins (RB – Browns)

Start Judkins this week. He is finally getting real RB1 volume, and the Browns are leaning on him heavily.

  • Steelers’ defense looks tough on paper, but they’ve been getting gashed by running backs lately.

  • Judkins runs angry — like he’s mad they spelled his name wrong on draft night.

  • Even if the game’s ugly, he’s getting the touches, and touches = points.

He’s heating up at the right time. Don’t overthink it — start him while he’s rolling.

Sit RBs - Week 6

Top running backs sit recommendations for fantasy football

Jaylen Warren (RB – Steelers)

He’s been awesome this year! But I am sitting, Warren. The Browns’ defense is no joke; they’re stuffing everything at the line right now.

  • He’s still splitting touches and hasn’t broken a big run all season.

  • Even if he gets 10–12 carries, you’re hoping for 40 yards and a prayer.

  • Add in that knee thing, and it’s just not worth the headache.

Tough matchup, low upside. Save yourself the stress and keep him on the bench this week.

Alvin Kamara (RB – Saints)

Sit Kamara this week. Love him, but that matchup’s ugly — Patriots are shutting down the run and not giving up anything easy.

  • He’s splitting touches with Kendre Miller now, which is wild to even say.

  • The efficiency’s just not there — looks more like three yards and a cloud of dust lately.

  • And without those dump-off catches, he’s basically touchdown or bust.

Still a legend, but this ain’t the week. Bench him before you’re staring at 9 points and regret.

Chase Brown (RB – Bengals)

Keep an eye on this one, Chase Brown could be better with Big Joe. So there is hope. Packers’ run D is nasty — they’ve been clamping everyone under 80 yards a game.

  • O-line can’t open anything up, dude’s getting hit the second he touches the ball.

  • No touchdowns, no passing work, no reason to risk it this week.

Feels like one of those games where he ends up with 9 carries for 28 yards and a headache for you. Bench him till that offense wakes up.

Start em Sit em Wide Receivers - Week 6

Week 6 WR start em sit em recommendations - Fantasy football wide receiver advice

Start WRs - Week 6

Top wide receivers start recommendations for fantasy football

Jaylen Waddle (WR – Dolphins)

He has finally looked like himself again — 100+ yards and a house call last week.

  • Waddle to eat with Hill out.

  • He’s healthy, moving quick, and you can see Tua starting to trust him again.

  • Miami’s offense is too explosive to keep him quiet for long — if he’s rolling, you don’t overthink it.

Lock him in. This feels like another “oh yeah, that’s Jaylen Waddle” kind of week.

Stefon Diggs (WR – Patriots)

He looks back! Say what you want, but he’s still that guy. Ten catches for 146 last week — he’s cooking again.

  • Patriots don’t have another real WR1, so every big throw is basically aimed at him.

  • Chemistry with the QB’s clicking, and he’s getting fed like it’s Thanksgiving.

  • He’s one of those players you don’t sit when he’s hot — you just ride it.

He’s back in rhythm, and when Diggs is in rhythm, fantasy points show up fast.

Rome Odunze (WR – Bears)

Williams has a new favorite targert!

  • Coming off the bye, he’s fresh and ready to keep cooking — 5 TDs in 4 games isn’t luck.

  • Commanders’ secondary is Swiss cheese right now; everyone’s eating on them.

  • Fields finally looks comfortable throwing his way, and Odunze’s catching everything.

He’s turning into a weekly must-start. Don’t get cute — play your baller.

Drake London (WR – Falcons)

He’s finally heating up and looking like the WR1 everyone drafted him to be.

  • 8 for 110 and a touchdown before the bye — that’s not a fluke, that’s volume finally turning into points.

  • Bills’ secondary just got torched, and London’s got the size and hands to do it again.

  • Falcons are actually letting their QB throw now — wild concept, I know.

He’s in rhythm, matchup’s solid, and you don’t bench a guy trending up like this.

Calvin Ridley (WR – Titans)

FINALLY!! WE HAVE BEEN WAITING. He finally woke up — 130 yards last game and looked smooth doing it.

  • Titans are actually scheming him open now, not just hoping he gets loose on his own.

  • Raiders’ secondary has been getting cooked all year — this is a good spot for another big one.

  • He’s too talented to keep quiet when he’s getting 8–10 targets.

Feels like he’s heating up, and you don’t want to be the guy who benches him right before another breakout.

Sit WRs - Week 6

Top wide receivers to sit recommendations for fantasy football

Zay Flowers (WR – Ravens)

No Lamar, no thanks. That offense without him turns into a checkdown clinic.

  • Backup QBs aren’t keeping drives alive, which means fewer targets and way less upside.

  • He’s banged up too — shoulder issue midweek isn’t helping.

  • Even if he gets looks, they’re gonna be 5-yard dump-offs with zero YAC.

Love the talent, but without Lamar, this offense goes flat fast. Bench him till that man’s back under center.

Chris Olave (WR – Saints)

Yeah, I’m sitting Olave this week. He’s getting targets, but they’re not turning into much of anything lately.

  • The chemistry with Carr just isn’t there — it’s like they’re running two different offenses.

  • Patriots’ secondary is sneaky tough, and they’ll take away the deep stuff he needs to score.

  • You can’t live off 6 catches for 58 yards every week and call that “WR1” production.

He’ll bounce back eventually, but this matchup screams “quiet game.”

Brian Thomas Jr. (WR – Jaguars)

I will be sitting Thomas this week again. The hype’s cool, but the production just isn’t there right now.

  • Zero touchdowns in three straight games — that’s brutal for a supposed big-play guy.

  • Seahawks’ secondary has been locking receivers down, and this isn’t the matchup to bet on a breakout.

  • He’s boom-or-bust, and lately it’s been a lot more bust.

He’ll have his weeks, but this one ain’t it. Let him chill on the bench until the volume or matchup turns around.

Jerry Jeudy (WR – Browns)

Sit Jeudy this week. We will see if Jeudy can build a connection with Gabriel, but not this week.

  • He’s got all the targets, but none of the results — 15 catches on 35 looks is ugly.

  • Keeps dropping balls like it’s his job, and that offense couldn’t find the end zone with GPS.

  • Even in a good matchup, he’s just not producing.

At this point, you’re starting him out of hope, not logic. Bench him till he remembers how to catch.

Start em Sit em Tight Ends - Week 6

Week 6 TE start em sit em recommendations - Fantasy football tight end advice

Start TEs - Week 6

Top Tight Ends start recommendations for fantasy football

Jake Ferguson (TE – Cowboys)

The new TE1. He is turning into Dak’s go-to guy.

  • Four straight games over 15 fantasy points — that’s elite TE consistency.

  • Panthers can’t stop tight ends to save their lives — literally one of the worst in the league against them.

  • He’s getting red zone looks every week, and with CeeDee banged up, those targets are gold.

Ferguson’s not a “maybe” start anymore — he’s automatic until proven otherwise.

David Njoku (TE – Browns)

I am doing it! I am starting Njoku this week. He looked good with Gabriel last week!

  • 13 catches on 19 targets in his last three — that’s solid consistency for a TE in this wasteland of a position.

  • Steelers’ defense has been getting cooked by tight ends lately; he’s got a legit shot at a touchdown.

  • Browns keep featuring him, and he’s looking like the safest pass-catcher on that team right now.

You can’t ask for much more from a TE — volume, red zone work, and a defense that struggles to cover his size.

Mason Taylor (TE – Jets)

Mason Taylor looks like a steal. He’s becoming a real piece of that Jets offense — not just a random streamer anymore.

  • 9 catches on 12 targets last week — that’s legit TE1 volume.

  • Defenses are busy doubling Garrett Wilson, which leaves Taylor wide open in the middle all day.

  • He’s got that “security blanket” vibe with his QB, and that’s gold for fantasy.

You can’t teach trust, and right now Taylor’s getting it. Fire him up before everyone else catches on.

Tucker Kraft (TE – Packers)

I’m starting Tucker Kraft. He plays the Bengals, enough said.

  • 88 yards and two touchdowns — that’s not a fluke, that’s chemistry with his QB.

  • Bengals’ defense struggles to cover tight ends, and Kraft’s athletic enough to take advantage.

  • He’s healthy, trending up, and clearly a go-to in the red zone.

Tight ends are a nightmare this season — take the guy who’s actually scoring. Ride the wave.

Sit TEs - Week 6

Tight Ends sit recommendations for fantasy football

Mark Andrews (TE – Ravens)

Sit Andrews this week. He’s been looking like a ghost of himself out there.

  • Four of his last five games under 30 yards — that’s not elite, that’s bench-worthy.

  • Snap count’s dropping with Likely stealing routes, and the offense just isn’t feeding him like it used to.

  • Feels like you’re starting him off name value, not production, plus no Lamar.

Zach Ertz (TE – Commanders)

Sadly, sit Ertz. Great vet, but it’s not 2018 anymore.

  • Zero catches last week — can’t start a guy who’s basically doing cardio out there.

  • Offense is shifting away from him, and the targets are drying up fast.

  • Even if he gets a couple looks, there’s no juice left to turn them into points.

It’s time to stop hoping for the comeback tour. Bench him and move on before he tanks another week.

Chig Okonkwo (TE - Titans)

Sit the Titans’ tight end this week. Raiders’ defense locks down TEs better than most teams.

  • They’re allowing barely 4 fantasy points a game to the position — that’s basically nothing.

  • Tennessee’s passing game is already on life support, and you’re betting on a TD that probably won’t come.

  • Okonkwo’s had talent flashes, but this offense isn’t giving him enough chances to matter.

Unless you’re desperate, just save yourself the pain. This matchup’s a fantasy graveyard for tight ends.
